I got a used 60º Cleveland for like $12, and had them make it a 62º it had some surface corrosion, big deal, 2 minutes on a bench grinder with the brush took care of it. I was sick of trying to take flop shots around the green with my 54º sand wedge, missing and hitting the ball like 60 yards because it hit the edge of the sole and face.

Thats all about bounce and grind.
My 58 is a vokey L grind (i believe, minimal sole) with 4 degrees of bounce. I can lay that female dog wide open. If its soft out there is no forgiveness. Love it. Even my 50 degree wedge (which is the only other one i play) only has 6 degrees of bounce and i ground it down a bit more.
