Brindy looking to move up to a head coach spot. Really wonder what kind of coach he would be. Lot of progressive stuff going on in Carolina over the past few seasons... wonder if it's rubbed off on him.

yes it looked ugly. that goal was a result of the current design of goalie skates and how the pads sit on/are strapped to them. there is a lot of room for the puck to slide under the bottom of the boot, especially when parallel to the ice when against the post. the skate needs to be angled to minimize the space, which is not ideal otherwise. if parallel you likely have to backup support with the stick. or the toe of the pad can be wedged just inside the post (partially in the net) to create a perfect seal and give the puck no room to squeeze through.

Yeah man. I’ve been there. It was unfortunate. I think most often than not he gets his skate angled or maybe even in the net.

I don’t see it happening. Quite honestly I’m not sure how I feel about it. I would prefer someone faster but I like him with Patrick and Konecny. It would allow giroux to move back to center next year too, though I have doubts that happens.

I dunno. I think he’s young enough that he will be taking a longer deal and that’s where I’m out

Phantoms tied 2-2 in third. Friedman with one of the goals. WB pens losing 4-1 haha. Being that I live about :25 minutes from the arena I'll be gloating big time if they get bounced.

I was ok with Haag being back in but hated to see Sanheim out, Would it really be that bad to sit Manning or Guddy and let the 2 kids both in the same game, I mean we the fans are mostly smart enough to grasp how good these games are for they're learning experience but sitting watching doesnt help and honestly Mandog has not earned his spot lately - although he was above average this last game. Did we even get many games this season with both Haag and Sanheim in the lineup at the same time?

Because it's true. That's why.

If that's was Malkin or Crosby doing the same thing to Giroux, there'd be talk of suspensions in here.

I honestly think it depends on how the Pens play. If they start slow & allow you guys time & space then it's going to be a game. If they start fast & keep the game at a high tempo then the Pens will win & win well.

33 points is not good especially for a guy who spent a lot of the year as a 2nd line C

absolutely. also, how many times will the flyers leave crosby alone at that back post? it’s not like he hasn’t scored 54688844 goals from there.

Boston had a 5 on 3 PP. Nobody in the crease. Chara, Nash and Backes nowhere to be found. Easy Leafs kill.
