Love the instant Karma for Malkin. Try to slew foot a guy and almost tear your knee up. Dirty play by a dirty player.

Well you can't exactly stand all three goalies in front of the net in a game, so you have to choose one. We won because the team in front of Neuvirth showed up. Neuvirth two soft goals allowed didn't exactly inspire confidence.
- SuperSchennBros

you’re off base here. he played very well, and was a big part of why they won. neither goal was a good one. but the rest was excellent.

for neuvirth? not in my opinion. kind of typical even when he’s at his best.

Great game yesterday, it's amazing what can happen when your goalie actually stops the puck. Great effort and checking.

On a side note, it must be amazing to be the Pens and almost never commit penalties. The amount of stuff they are allowed to get away with is mind boggling, from Crosby hooking the stick off the ice by the hands on just about every player he is defending to Gina Malkin, who seems to commit a stick infraction at every whistle. Malkin, imo is the biggest pu$$y in the league, and relies on his protectors for every cheap shot he throws at the whistle. Did you see him almost injure himself when he blatantly slew footed one of our players? On the plus side, when he retires he can get a job playing Frankenstein, without makeup.

The great Mike Babcock has put William Nylander on his 4th line. If Hakstol did this, he'd be castrated.

yes it looked ugly. that goal was a result of the current design of goalie skates and how the pads sit on/are strapped to them. there is a lot of room for the puck to slide under the bottom of the boot, especially when parallel to the ice when against the post. the skate needs to be angled to minimize the space, which is not ideal otherwise. if parallel you likely have to backup support with the stick. or the toe of the pad can be wedged just inside the post (partially in the net) to create a perfect seal and give the puck no room to squeeze through.

Brindy looking to move up to a head coach spot. Really wonder what kind of coach he would be. Lot of progressive stuff going on in Carolina over the past few seasons... wonder if it's rubbed off on him.

Where are the Filppula apologists? He assisted on the first goal and brought them back from dead with a shorty. Deserves some love.
- coffee junkie

Sure he deserves love for a good game but I mean a garbage player is still a garbage player. Max Talbot has a couple Cup GWG that doesnt mean he is good nor that people shouls apologize for saying he is garbage, same goes for Gagner and his 8 point game.

Fillpula is not and has never been a garbage player.
