I don't think he meant to hit him (can't say he even saw him, waiting to see if I can find video - maybe im off base). Seemed like collision. Oleksiak's just a big/awkward guy.

Dude's huge. Didn't realize until they put the stats up after the fight. Yeah, it looked bad but I only saw it once and don't know how they came together.

I sure hope the goalie coach spends all day tomorrow practicing tracking the puck behind the net with Neuvirth.

outstanding effort. gritty win. wish they showed this fight in games 3-4.

i called neuvirth getting the start. good call. it’s his net until he breaks.

i hope provy is ok. 30 min. wow.

the 51-15 shortie? AYFKM?

nice to see G hammer one home.

officiating was atrocious.

not sure they survive 2 more like that.

coots for prime minister.

As long as the team plays like they did tonight and game two, it doesn't matter who is in net. I don't want to hear Neuvirth was the right calls. Both goals he allowed were poop goals. The right answer between the pipes is whoever won the game, in front of a team that played well.
- SuperSchennBros

it does matter. they played well early, then they bent but didn’t break.i didn’t like the 2nd goal in particular. i won’t get into the mechanics of why that puck squeaked through on the wrap around. he was excellent. the team didn’t play well in the 2nd/3rd. they were under siege and survived on effort and some luck.

Fil with a 3 point game. Leader in forwards ice time by a decent margin.

Eggs over all our faces. Hot damn.

Great effort from the boys in a must win game, tonight. Despite their 2 victories in the series so far the Flyers have not played a very good 60 min effort type game yet. You'd have to think they are due for a great performance sooner or later lets hope that happens for them on Sunday. If we can somehow get this to a game 7 who knows what can happen in that situation.

Ghost paired with Hagg , Amac with Provy so that is some of the reason why. Also Flyers were on the pk 5 times and Ghost gets no pk minutes.

I can't help but to just smile sometimes. They really are like a bad girlfriend when you were 20. Always suck you back in.

At the end of the day, no matter what happens its great for the kids to at least experience this kind of intensity. Trial by fire, against a damn good opponent.

Can't say enough about Couturier and Prov (who has taken a poop load of punishment this year).

Edit: Always Flyers first, but can't say enough how much a person/city feels the energy by this Jets team. Would be great for the 2 to meet in the finals one day.

Said it the other day, but the Jets were the best team I saw all season. When they come out hitting, sometimes they look unstoppable

Funny thing is that Chevy got a lot of heat for the things that Hextall is.

He really only drafted and made (for the most part) pretty minor moves up until Stastny this year.

Have to think that's Hextall's plan.

Man. It took a loooooonnnnggg time for that to go down. Thought both Chevy and Maurice would get the gate after that faceplant last year, but look at them now

What a gutsy win. Totally unexpected. Neuvirth has his typical game. Flyers looked like game 2 where they were taking care of the porch. Coots with a memorable effort. He was really laboring. Hope provy is ok. Did not see a replay on the injury
