Just remember the flyers have nhl players too. Still not worried and I predicted 6 games. I actually read the blog this time. Torts is a far better coach and has done more with less than BabRichard.

A lot of overreacton on this thread. considering how bad the pens played, game was still 2-2 and seemingly on the way to OT before that last min goal.
They sure missed their leading ppg guy tonite.

I can't even blame that on missing Hornie. PP wouldn't shoot. Defensive gaffes. Geno lost his mind a little. Just a really sloppy effort when they needed to play a controlled efficient game. Honestly, Philly didn't play that well outside of the 1st. We just puked on ourselves.

Simon on the top line is a joke. That's on Sullivan.

- madmike71

Horny down low tends to open up space that isn't there without him. Agree on Phil and Geno being really sloppy tonight.

Thought Simon got better and had a nice assist, but he couldn't keep up with Sid and Jake. Not sure what I'd have done since ZAR didn't look great and the 3rd line was dangerous all night. Maybe bump up Sheahan sime shifts?

People only look at his points. F that. He looked like an idiot playing D. Lazy turnovers too.

I'm glad Schultz took over him on the 1st PP. Too much star attitude from #58. F off.

He'll be right back on it next game. He get's more slack than any player deserves. He could burn down the rink and get rewarded with more minutes. The coaching and ownership has blinders on for him.

Did you think Murray's glove should've catched that shot? His weakness.

D zone turnover, deflection, and screen. Hard to get too mad on that one. The 2nd was the worst to me.

Most here have blinders too. I very much noticed his lazy play tonight. Making turnovers like an AHLer or 6th-7th D would.

I missed this goal. Well, we lost to a horrible team and Sullivan will not be happy.

I don't think so. All that's needed is to give a team a little life and anything can happen. I'm predicting 7 games and like I said, anything can happen. Flyers did it to the Bruins once after barely making the playoffs. Overconfidence can be a bad thing.

That last goal isn’t on MM. Phil has got to be better. Geno is his own worst enemy. I’m most pissed at him. He just loses it, then sulks like a bïtch all game.

I wouldn't say Philly is horrible, they finished 1 point behind Pitt in the standings, yes they have been over matched for most of the series but they are not horrible.
On another note and not trolling but why is it so easy for Malkin to lose it during a game, he is a bit of a baby. I have respect for |Crosby because he does not do that at all, takes the punishment and makes team pay on the scoresheet but Malkin can't help himself at times

Championships aren’t won without adversity. One thing Sullivan has shown is how it adapt to a loss.

Pens didn’t shoot enough, period.

They didn’t play bad, but they didn’t have the killer instinct.

Neuvirth was good, but he wasn’t that good. He wasn’t standing on his head.

They know what they have to do.

Yeah we all wish he'd lose that attitude as well. Sometimes he turns that anger into goals, but other times he just lashes out and loses control.

He’s a hothead. That’s it. He's a very emotional player and doesn't always know how to keep a hold of his emotions.

Wasn't a must win game but it was for the Flyers and it showed. It's cliché as F but the fourth win is the hardest because its the other teams season on the line. Despite not matching the Flyers urgency they still could of won that last night. Just over a minute to OT. That's how it goes sometimes.

Avs didn't bow out last night either. Hopefully the Leafs make it 3-2 tonight and the Caps and Jackets go to 4 OTs haha.

It’s a seven game series, Malkin can’t let a punk like Manning bully him around f that. It would be nice if one of his line mates had his back but they don’t. I don’t ever expect or wish one of our stars to just take poop.
