People call themselves 'artists' by playing real musician's music and distorting it and adding computer effects to it. They should go check out some real musicians playing and step away from their computer.

TSN 3 has the right's in Manitoba to the games during the regular season. It's on sportsnet here for the entire playoffs.

She digs live music. I think she is an old school DJ who spins tunes in between sets and before shows.
I saw Amon Tobin at The Commodore (a good friend was production manager there for Jazz Fest over the years) and it was so depressing. A guy standing behind a laptop with 1000 people in front of him with their fists in the air. I thought of the 25 + years of live music in there and went backstage to pour a huge glass of wine and smoke another spliff.

It comes down to who gets hot for long enough. Winnipeg is soaring right now. Nashville definitely won't go down without a fight. Neither will Winnipeg.

Just about all the "good" DJ's have their own music. If they do, do a song by another artist. That artist would have to give consent. The "real" artists, if they didn't think that these DJ we're artists then they would probably be saying no.
