Jack Hughes only played half the year with the u18 team. I don't know the production numbers before and after for Wahlstrom though. Jack Wise was injuried a lot of the season too. Commentators said the u18 team got a lot better after Hughes and Wise were playing full time.

Trade Ben hutton for something. Take half of his 2.8 and give Brandon Manning a 3 year deal at 1.4.

I usually go to this site DraftSite to see whose who throughout the year. I have to say the guy who analysis the players and give the break down Bill Placzec is pretty bang on from the players I seen so far at the U18 .

Nothing wrong with the kid at all . He is playing on Canada's best U18 . He does play using his long reach . He is an okay pick and still very young.

Noel is a player I would take but he will be gone mid first round. McIssac looks like Canada best defender

I won't be upset as long as Van doesn't drop 3 spots again. If somehow 3 teams below us with less of a chance are able to draft higher then Van.

It's ridiculous how many times you need to explain to people that there is a middle ground to stand on.

I'll repeat for the umpteen time. I have no problem with drafting Bahl. Just not with a high second round pick.

I have been high on McIsaac and i wouldnt mind Bahl in the 2nd.
Smith and Merkley tend to be puck-bobblers.

I would definitely take the 6'6 kid 17 year old that Don Hay just had out to defend the
5 on 3 for a full minute at 37 th. I would take him over Merkley or Smith also . If he is still there at 37 th I would be surprised

I do like Swedish defenseman Adam Ginning around that 37th spot, as well.
I am a Tanev fan, but if we could maybe move him to MTL or Nyi for one or 2 of there 2nds, i would be alright with that.
