We know Edler is again going to be the minute monster. Stecher is never going to be able to handle that work load. We need a top pair that works. I’m not knocking Troy but he would do way better with severely reduced minutes.

I think we can all agree on this. Stetcher is not a top 4 dman right now.


The problem is that the team only has 2 reliable top 4 dmen, and one is made out of glass and the other one is turning 32 years old tomorrow.

He didn't actually fall far off, he just stopped producing offensively so people started to notice how bad he is in his own zone.

No matter how the pairings are done up, it's still pretty ugly. Especially when you factor in the 15-20 games that Tanev/Gudbranson will likely miss.

I don't think I viewed a single offensive play where he actually takes a stride with the puck on his stick, guy is the antithesis of mobile

Not sure he fits the mold of a modern (or future) top-end d-man. Really hope we take a pass on this guy.

Haven't bothered to study his skating like some here apparently have but did watch the clip with a collection of his goals. Seemed like a bunch of them were on 2 on 1's. Kinda odd for a D-man if he's slow.
