He didn't get suspended for his anttics. He got suspended for putting his shoulder into Soderberg's face.

The Preds are playing just like they did the last week or two of the season, not very good (or at least not like they had the majority of the year). They may say that they sat Peks a lot at the end to rest him but the reality is his play was mediocre and Saros was MUCH better.

It hasn't all been on Peks, the defense is average and the stupid turnovers and penalties are going to undue them in the long run. In other words, unless they find a way to play like they did in February, they won't get past the Jets in the next round.

Agree 100%, its a penalty, I thought it would just be a fine, but one game is more than enough. I explain my breakdown of it in another blog and wont repeat but it was more "boxing out / keeping him at bay" (with his stick too high) then the act of an actual cross check where he is still in the act of extending his hand forward while making contact.
