While I understand the sentiment.

I disagree with the idea.

At this point, you go with your best players, hoping they come out of their funk.

If they don't, you're screwed anyway.

- Scabeh

I agree with you. In a do or die, must win game; you need your best players and hope they perform.

Calling it now if the Leafs win game 5 they WILL win the series. Book mark this. Hear that RJ? You're gonna lose!
- Aaron_85

Hey, stranger things have happened. I think they will lose at home in game 6. Build us all up and let us down one last time at home...

What about getting someone else for Matthews to play with? I know he hasn't been good either, but playing with Willy hasn't helped. Willie is scared poopless to go into the dirty areas...

I fully expect a strong push back game tomorrow night from the Leafs.. I really can't see them going out on a whimper and letting Boston easily take Game 5.

Any news on Bergeron? Him playing or not is a big factor.

except nobody said that last year.
stop making up stories.

nylander has been invisible.
so have JVR and Brown.

you keep nylander in the lineup tomorrow since he's part of the leafs' future (almost certainly at least) while JVR will be gone 95% sure.

Personally I would sit Brown as well.

Last I saw was he was gtd.

Riley Nash seemed to burn the leafs in faceoffs and played well last night.

Maybe an injured Bergeron maybe he better fit the leafs, depending on the severity of the injury of course.

I think they've been giving a full effort.

They simply aren't as good as the Bruins.

Don't be silly.

As good as Riley Nash can be.

Bergeron, even not at 100% is twice the player.

If he's injured enough that Nash is better, he simply won't play.

I agree with that; Babcock should pull out all the stops to win Game 5;

Marleau-Matthews-Marner
Hyman-Kadri-Kapanen
JvR-Bozak-Nylander
Johnsson-Pleks-Brown

It’s been a good year.

Andersen taking over the single season wins record.

Most points in a season.

Matthews getting 63 points in 62 games

Marner entering legitimate Superstar conversations.

Rielly having a career year, and playing like a legitimate top pairing D.

Dermott looks poised to become a top-4 D soon.

Johnsson making Nonis look less Nonisey.

Kadri scoring 30+ again, proving last year wasn’t a fluke.

Marlies owning the AHL like BuffaLOL owning the NHL basement.

LOLtawa. ‘Nuff said.

UG came back. Okay maybe not everything was good.

We laughed, we cried, we bickered, we made sweet love. Sure, the way the season ended was pretty disappointing - but we all can take solace in the fact that we aren’t the Canucks.

Love you guys.

Just doing the math here...

So if Bergeron is 100%, Riley Nash would be 40% the player?

Why not put Plekanec on that third line instead of Blowzak?

You mean to tell me that they are not as good as the team that was 7 points better than them? Against a team that knows how to lock down a 1 goal game.

Maybe put Matthews on the PK. Heck, it can't be any worse than it has been in the first two games of this series.. Babcock needs to try anything to get these guys going. Desperate times, call for desperate measures..

I’m not making anything up, Marner wasn’t good in the playoffs last year, this year Matthews and Nylander aren’t. Id just move out Moore and bring in Kadri, I don’t think there’s much to think about as far as who comes in and out tomorrow.

It has been a good year either way. Leafs best players are all very young, that’s exciting obviously. It sucks right now but series isn’t over yet. Either way way better year then what everyone has got accustomed too!
