Are you implying that Matthews is not trying?
What I find disturbing is his defensive game has fallen off a cliff, that is very worrisome. We called him a 200 ft player but his positioning, giveaways, his lack of backchecking is evident in this series. |

We made two. They both ended up in the back of our net.
We didn't play bad last night. It was a very even game.

Ya, I didn't see us get many chances aside from Marners breakaway and maybe another 1 or 2...no real rebounds etc. It's too bad, sure we could have won but tough when were not creating much.

normally he dominates even when he has no space, one of the better players in the league in tight areas. since the mid point, nah. he's looked totally different. he's barely been using his shot too. |
