If Drew Doughty is "available", and the Leafs, by some miracle, sign Tavares, would you trade Nylander, 1st round pick etc. for Doughty?
Matthews at 10 million, Tavares at 10 million, Doughty at 10 million, Marner at 7 or 8 million...worth it?

So the stat for teams down 2-0 wasn’t great... I wonder how it looks for teams down 2-1 after being down 2-0. Or teams coming back from 2-0 to make it 2-2.

Nylander, Gardiner, 1st round pick. What else do they need for a guy with 1 year left on his deal?
I don't hate Nylander at all. But he's very valuable and the Leafs need help on defense, specifically in the legit #1 D department and it just so happens that two of them may actually be available. Why not take advantage of the opportunity and make the Leafs a more well rounded team? |

Kadri, Gardiner, a 1st and probably a 2nd or perhaps another 1st....IF the Leafs got Tavares.
Nylander, Marner and Reilly are untouchable.

I don't hate Nylander at all. But he's very valuable and the Leafs need help on defense, specifically in the legit #1 D department and it just so happens that two of them may actually be available. Why not take advantage of the opportunity and make the Leafs a more well rounded team?
