pretty disappointing for sure. The only real hope for the Leafs is if Bergeron is out longer. - senstroll
Ya with the bruins up 3-1 maybe they look past the leafs and try and sit Bergeron so he’ll be healthy for the long run. With kadri back sat who knows.
Watching that game last night was tough. Leafs had most of the momentum and you could just feel Boston would convert and dampen the mood. |

I disagree,
Not with your guess at the Leafs chances, because a number of us saw that coming also.
I think they had to take s shot. When you have a chance, you take it. Just because it turns out they aren't good enough, doesn't mean it wasn't worth a shot.
You are never going to have a situation where your team is guaranteed to win a cup and this is *the* year you go for it.

told you Shanny should have traded a 1st and Liljegren for Alzner

Yessum.
Frustrating series, for sure.
Outside of game 1 when we looked stunned, I don't think the series outcome so far is really indicative of how good of a team we are (or how much better BOS is than us). |

Everyone calm down from last night?
Or did we trade everyone?
Did Max make Hyman captain, sign Jagr and Kovulchuk and trade Nylander, gardiner, jvr, and Andersen?
Max, hugs!

He's not right this year, not since coming back.
I'm not ready to pull the chute on him just yet, but I think I'm ready for Rielly and Gardiner to play together 30 minutes a game and then platoon the rest with the bottom pairings. |

Our D played the 2-1 essentially the worst way they could, and Anderson was out to lunch of the first 2-1 being 18000 feet committed to the shot. |

That's what they did all game to keep pressure on the B's. It was part of the gameplan, they had to expect that would happen. Zaitsev might as well not been there with the ease in which he allowed the pass. |

The 2nd goal was all on Gardiner. Terrible pinch. Pastrnak fooled zaitsev with the fakes shot then pass, cause thats what good players like Pastrnak do. |

Ya, I am not sure I understand this. They seemed to pinch on every play. Does not make sense to me. If you are going to pinch on literally every play, why have defence at all? Pinch when its a clear opportunity. Don't pinch if its close.
But alas, it is the 'we can't play defence so lets just try to play offence all game' 'system' |
