It's bad enough when you have other teams trolling but having our own and quite a few of them trolling our own fan base is sad. - LeafMan
Almost as sad as the effort by the Leafs tonight...haha... |

What a disappointing game.
Have we ever come back from a 3-1 playoff hole? - Hockey_Reverend
Playing like that? Probably never.
Could still see them bringing it to a game 6. |

Simmonds would be great on this soft team - Fakepartofme
Exactly. That's what I mean, I get the argument that we're not a powerful team, and don't disagree, but we shouldn't be trading a guy like Kap for a guy like Rick Nash. |

The Leafs, as a whole, do not use slapshots regularly. Dead last in the NHL in slapshots taken. Only 248 slapshots in 82 games by the whole team combined. - Unholy_Goalie

Bruins didn't want a physical game so they didn't initiate it. No PP's for either team. Fits right into Bostons game plan. |

And Dermont.
Polak has honestly been great. Just like last year. No stupid mistakes, no penalties, big hits in the corners... - Hockey_Reverend
Polak being carried by Dermott. Massive blunder tonight. |

really ? as often as the Leafs have been in the playoffs in the past 2 generations you should have the games memorized .

most important game of the year, and you let in a bad goal on first shot on first shift in night?
not many teams can recover from that.
that's just such a morale breaker. - MaximusAurelius
Ya not many teams can come back from being down by one goal and only have 2 full periods and 19:30 mins left to score it.
Ya
Tough
Please stop

Polak played that 2 on 1 better than Zaitsev did though that was a beauty saucer. |

they only have fun when they score 1st, if they can somehow score first in each game, they could do it.
probability of that is low but .... yeah |

I've been saying it for awhile, Nylander can help you get a legit #1 D if they do it right but Weber would be a little too old. Need somebody in the same age range as Nylander unless it's somebody like Doughty. |

They didn't get dominated they were in the game all game. They lost on bad break and 2 junk plays by dmen not being able to make a peewee play.
The leafs spent lots of time in the the offensive zone. They weren't terrible. - burn
It's all about CAPITALizing (teehee) on chances, and they simply didn't cash in. B's did, and make it look easy. Leafs didn't play great, but better than a lot of people are saying on here tonight. |

If Andersen didn't let in that poop 1st goal, they might have got the 1st one tonight. The Leafs look like a fragile group right now. |

Blah I'm awful hesistant to trade a blue chipper that hits 60 pts twice on an ELC but he was just so soft this series. Never make a decision angry. |

That's all it takes tho. One or two bad turnovers and you're trailing. leafs had very little high quality chances. They did not under any circumstance dominate the game. Posses is an illusion. It's what you do with the puck that matters. |
