couple bounces go the other way and it's a 2-2 series instead of 3-1 lol

this blows but whatever, not like the leafs were favourites this series anyway. this shouldnt be that surprising to us

Babs is trying to win the cup with all skill and speed like he did 10 years ago. Different game now.
Different from when la won it with size and grit. Burke tried to emulate that and he failed.
Need a good combo of both.

- Skalapy

As long as the grit has hockey ability, then good, but I'm sick of people saying we'd be better if Komarov and Martin were playing instead of Johnsson. It's just not true. A guy like Simmonds, sure, but the way of the goon and the talentless plugs are almost over.

the leafs played wll tonight. 2 bad pinches and then the defending defenseman ass(frank)ed the poop out of the play. Zaitsev and polak made an absolute mess of the 2on1 they played. Just awful.

Cherry is right. Zaitsev totally blew that...

It is defense 101. On a 2 on 1 don't let the pass get over.... that was the game...

I'll give you the first goal obviously, but you put those massively clear 2 on 1's on Anderson?

Nylander is a cap dump at this point

Who wants a player who gets you into the playoffs and then is afraid to take a hit?

Yea, it happens. Sometimes it happens in the playoffs. Does that mean the team needs to be blown up? (frank) no. First two games literally everything Boston put on net bounced of something and game them either a tap in or bounced in. Leafs have done that all game and hasn't happened. Three lucky goals early in a game? Not many teams come back from that on road against one of the best teams in the league. People just need to calm the (frank) down
- harps43

it's more fun to freak out i guess lol. this exact team could go into the playoffs and dominate for all we know. hockey is a weird sport. if they get some D or sign tavares or something wild like that then even better.

Yes. He should know by now he cannot depend on his defense to play a 2 on 1 properly.

I wouldn't say it was Andersens fault by any stretch, but he didn't play them well. That said, neither of those two on ones should have materialized. They just shouldn't have happened.

most important game of the year, and you let in a bad goal on first shot on first shift in night?
not many teams can recover from that.
that's just such a morale breaker.

Ok, Burn..

You know your poop..

This is exactly what the Bruins planned on. This is how they planned on winning. Play a conservative game and let the chances come to them and score on those chances. The Leafs had nothing. If you're missing your best player then you have to play like that. Leafs did the same thing when Matthews was injured.

And Dermont.

Polak has honestly been great. Just like last year. No stupid mistakes, no penalties, big hits in the corners...
