It's hard defending a guy that clearly just (frank)ed up but Zaitsev is only seconds behind Rielly for ice time leader tonight, that's for a reason. |

I don't know if you have noticed
But the leafs have been pinching hard the last two games, and it's the reason they are in these games. It's a risk everytime you do it. But it's working against the Bruins - Santo_44
Gonna need to take some chances in the 3rd. Most important period of this season |

Exactly. He may be the worst option for a 2 on 1 against. It's like he's afraid to get ice on his jersey. - Monkeypunk
Zaitsev went Ken Hodge Jr and busted after one good year.
Trade him to EDM for another bad contract in Lucic. |

Yet the Bruins are winning..
This doesn't look like they playoffs. The Bruins are laughing right now. No heart from anyone. It's sad. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Outside of 2-3 shifts the Bruins have looked completely outclassed, I'm sorry I;m just going to have to strongly disagree. Leafs have had plenty of high quality chances, time to bury one. |

It's his second year in the NHL. If we've given Gardiner this long, we can give Zaits another year or two. He might be here awhile anyway. Hopefully he'll get his game from last year back. It's not much of a stretch to think that, either. |

Sure I have. And sure it works, except when it doesn't. That time, it didn't work. It didn't work so badly we got scored on.
If you're trying to say blame the system, rather than Gardiner, then fine, but that goal was partially caused by a bad pinch. |

Marner and Rielly but yeah to the rest... - Corn_Logg
Punch someone in the the face ffs!!
Last game Rielly did that to Pasta and it was awesome. No call, good! Refs are letting them go tonight so get (frank)ing physical! Play like your reputation is on the line!! Nylander is (frank)ing brutal in the playoffs. You'd think Micheal would have a talk with William and say, hey son, you gotta shed this pretty boy thing asap and go win your team a playoff game. |

When your top player is out you play a conservative game. That's what the Bruins are doing. Leafs aren't taking it to them and it's embarrassing. |

I'm going with - it's his second year in the NHL, and he's coming back from a serious leg injury and some mystery illness. If he's battling physically, he not as mentally aware as he should be. <-- That's my hope.
He's a good skater, and controls the puck well, but he's soft. So we'll see how he progresses. |

The Leafs have had multiple shifts in the O-zone where they looked like their on a PP at evens but you think the Bruins are playing conservative. I don't think your assessment is accurate.

Zaitsev plays hard he's not soft, when he (frank)s up though its quite visible. He played 15 minutes so far tonight I know you guys think Babs doesn't have a clue but he pays much closer attention then anyone on these boards. |

But we could have dumped him on Detroit for Mike Muthafukin Green Light. |

It's an illusion man..
It just looks like the leafs are controlling the game. The Bruins know what they're doing and are waiting for their opportunities. Leafs should have more than 1 goal if they are pushing the pace. |

Cant believe how much of a rat Merchant is.
Marner is falling and he pushing down on his head into the ice.
Reilly is vulnerable and he crosscheck him in the side.

Kind of, yes. The Bruins are sitting back and playing a defensive system. Waiting for the rope-a-dope counterstrike to create offense...
