Me too. The Penguins are a different team in the playoffs. Let them spend all their energy when it matters least.
Good luck giving out 6-7 million contracts to those two D-men. - Barnaby36
Ghost is signed at 4.5 for like 5 years... a (frank)ing steal. Provorov will probably get something similar. |

Tanger has been a stud all series. Dude is a PPG player right now while munching minutes against the oppositions best, with a positive goal differential at 5v5. Aside from a few mistakes, there's nothing wrong with Letang, every player makes those mistakes. - j.boyd919
Oh don't get me wrong he's not playing bad I just think he has a better level of play. we all know it. He has his "Geno Machino" side as well. |

I didn't know about the Gostsbehere contract. Good one. I still would rather have our D core. |

Is this guy any good? Schultz is very good. Edmonton is a F'd UP organization. - Barnaby36
DeKeyser is a fringe NHLer on a terrible contract. It was a joke. |

Oh definitely, Pens 3 pairs>Philly 3 pairs by far. I agree with that. |

Even though they’re not a super physical team, I fully expect Philly to come out and hit everything in sight to physically intimidate the Pens. Whether or not that works for one game I don’t know, but I expect it.
The typical weathering storm type of first period.
Cooler heads will need to prevail. |

Watched parts of the leafs bruins and Washington Columbus games last night. Who would have thought pens flyers would be the least physical series? With the lopsided scores you would think there would be some emotion. Is the Pens Flyers rivaly officially dead? Also seeing brad Marchand score and standing with his arms out at center ice kind of completely ruined my evening. |

I think Schultz is very smart with the puck and is not a liability defensively. He's a perfect fit in Pittsburgh.
The thing with young guys is that they'll skate hard all around like Provorov and Gostsbehere do. They are talented too so do the math.
I'm fine with Schultz and hope Letang can regain his confidence.
On a side note: Dumoulin is a re-born. Totally different player from the regular season. Maybe he's watched some Määttä's tapes - Barnaby36
Jesse Marshall is supposed to have a Dumoulin breakdown today, can't wait to read it. I know people generally get disappointed with his lack if offense, but he cleans up so much in his own end making him an excellent partner for Letang. Guy puts on a clinic in gap control and playing one on ones or odd man breaks the other way. Becoming a real leader as well from what I understand. |

It sure isn’t on display this series. I kind of wish someone would put Konecny in his place. He runs around like some strapped a set on him. |

The Dumo article is up. Great work as usual from Jesse.
