I'm not sure who I want. I guess we are in both of their heads but that cant last forever right? I just hope they play 3 more games preferably with some OTs.
I will say I was happy when they got the Flyers. Hopefully they can put them to bed tomorrow and get some rest.

Logically I think they should, but even after that pathetic performance I expect Philly to bring their best game of the series tomorrow. I hope the Pens don't waltz in thinking "they got this."

do we need to have a discussion about this word?
- DeflatedPucks

Retards a great word. I use it as much as I can in hopes to keep it mainstream

And even more poignant when you use it wrong grammatically.

Gonna go at least 6.

Pens need to finish up their business tomorrow and get a nice long rest. Although, they haven't really been taxed in this series.

Sure. It's a word, in the dictionary, that means underdeveloped. I used it correctly. End of discussion.

Even though I think the Jackets are a physically tougher opponent, I'm hoping for them... Bobrosvky is just a playoff bust.
- Rinosaur

I kind of want Washington. They just seem a little slower. They don't run around trying to crush the opponent like Cbus does although they still do some of that. Panarin scares the sh*t out of me too.

It's kind of a coin flip however.

IMO at the end of the day it comes down to goals. The Pens have proven two years in a row that physicality can't beat them and when it comes to allowing goals, I would definitely rather face Bobrovsky than Holtby even though the Pens have taken him down twice in the last two years.

Not really anywhere else to go. I didn't call anyone a retard or retarded. Nothing I said was in reference to mentally disabled people. As stated, I used it correctly, there really isn't a discussion to have.

Pretty much on point. WAS is a bit slower, and tho the pens have become bob's owners, I sense Panarin and co. would give the Pens the biggest fits.

My how this caps series has turned. This series could have easily have gone 3-0, and now all of a sudden its 2-2. Becoming the most compelling series of RD1

I really wanted to tell you guys to stop being the f-word of the gays to be ironic, but I wasn’t sure how that would go down...

It’s much more likely that it comes from a term of abuse — known from the early eighteenth century — for a shrewish, bad-tempered or offensive woman, often as old someone who is attracted to the opposite sex or silly old someone who is attracted to the opposite sex. This usage survived well into the twentieth century, until it was eased out by the homosexual sense, still to be heard, for example, on British television shows and films into the 1970s. It turns up, to take just one case, in one of the Ingoldsby Legends by Richard Barham (1840): “The Baron started: ‘What’s that you say, you old someone who is attracted to the opposite sex?’ He ran round by his horse’s tail; The woman was gone!” Its origin lay in the bundle of sticks sense — such a woman was regard as a burden, a baggage (a related derogatory term that goes back to Shakespeare’s time).

Well, they've been in the Caps heads for 25 years now...

I'm not to worried about either. I'd prefer Washington as a match-up because I don't think a team with poor depth can beat the Pens.

Lol Jmachette is the opposite of an angry Fliers fan. He's basically one of us at this point but his pride won't let him admit he's a bigger Pens fan than Flyers.

I've always been a Penguins fan, and I'm married into a family of them. So of course I'll root for them.

Just not against the Flyers. But again, I am a realist, and knew there was about a 0.2% chance of the Flyers winning the series.

some more fancy stats for ya MattStrat.

Second Oleksiak/Schultz one has bigger sample size for Schultz since he's more comparable to Ghost/Prov.

No, that would be 0.5%. This is a 1/5th % chance. So 2000:1 odds.

hahaha (frank) no. Prov and Ghost >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Schultz. By a lot. But some dippoop was saying Schultz was better than both Prov/Ghost... and even said he'd rather have Oleksiak than both, but of the 2 I'd say Schultz is much closer to those 2 than Oleksiak haha

Well it’s easier playing hockey when you don’t have those clunky Stanley Cup Rings affecting the grip of your stick. Hahaha
