Teams who are trailing 2-1 in a series haven’t tied it up at 2-2 yet this year.

Until the leafs do it tonight.

- bryant

on no real basis i'm going to say it's normal for maybe 1 team a year to come back from a 2-0 deficit.

Ducks and kings already failed. avs, devils, caps and wild don't look good.

i'm not saying we're coming back to win, but we're coming back to win.

I only want them to split with the yanks and red sox. I want the Jays to keep having series wins against the lesser teams. They should remain competitive if they do.

If a tree falls in the forest, assaulting someone, and there's no one there to see it, did it really assault someone?

It's hard to see anyone else make it out of the East right now...

Yeah...I sure won't make it, if tonight's game is anything like game 3 then I'm gonna have a stroke or a brain aneurysm by the time 10:00 rolls around.

Well the Red Sox are even better than the Jays right now so if they can get a split in a 4 game series that would be okay. Point is to keep having series wins and splits as often as possible and they should get to the playoffs.

Ducks and Kings looked bad (Aside from Quick) Caps haven't played game 4 yet but they are the other team that might do it...

I took a peek inside the Flyers thread.

Most are realistic about it, but there's a few who are pulling the old "I'm ashamed to be a Flyers fan - these guys aren't putting forth the effort."

Like, what?!?!?

The Penguins simply have too much firepower. They're 2-time champs, and zeroing in on a third.

Their powerplay is truly frightening.

No shame at all in losing to them.

- Atomic Wedgie

They've been outscored 17-1 in their 3 losses. There's a bit of shame in that, dontcha think?

ducks are bad. gibson was stellar for them this year, but couldn't do enough in the playoffs.

vegas is good. not going to be easy to beat them at home.

and (frank) the caps.

Quick had a .947 save percentage! Too bad Fleury posted like a .977.

Kings need a little more depth I heard.

Ducks also had a lot of injuries early on.

I like the way you think;

The Capitals are the only other team that has a chance to do it, but they have to do that on the road, we can do it on home ice..

They were the higher seed, no excuses on getting swept by the Sharks.

Also, WTF?

While Predators' Ryan Hartman will have a hearing for his hit on Soderberg, Tampa's Nikita Kucherov will not.

Idk man.

Whenever I have a problem with someone I usually meet them by the water cooler at 4:45 for some bare knuckle boxing. It's by the kitchen so if I'm losing I try and salvage some self respect by driving them head first into the refrigerator. I got 4 a for day suspension last time I did though

My manager went full Parros that week

- RickJames77

So one person got suspended for 1 day, and the other got 3 days?

What a quote by Auston Matthews;

“You can stay away from it as much as you want, but it’s always going to be there,” Matthews said. “A lot of times it’s just people behind (anonymity), you don’t even know them, they’re just kind of in their basements. When you go through little slumps and stuff, people like to take it out on you on social media. That’s the world we live in. You let go of it, you just relax, take a deep breath, you have the people around you that matter the most — your teammates, family. Those people always give it to you straight.”

I just can't believe Matthews would address UG directly.

It’s disgusting.

The NHLPA should ask for the immediate firing of Parros.

seems like the players themselves are the problem.

the nhlpa is more worried about its members being suspended and limiting penalties; instead of worrying about injuries to their members.

I thought it would be a 1 game suspension.. the hit looked awfully similar to Doughty's...

i'm not sure, but the slight distinction parros may be making is kucherov went through the body and hit his head also.

doughty glanced off the shoulder and the head became the primary point of contact.

fwiw.
