I don't get how people find golf enjoyable. I tried it once and wanted to destroy everything around me.

It is a lot of fun, but easily one of the more difficult sports to gain proficiency at for an amateur.

hahaha Tony believe it or not I did not realize it was 4/20! and what a coincidence, im taking a half day to go play some golf

Golfing today.
Still (frank)ing snow on the ground in places around here!
I love to play, but I'm a shorts and golf shirt kind of player. If I have to bundle up, I'd rather go for a skate.

Ive been playing since I was like 10 so ive gotten pretty good at it, played in HS an all. but you are right it is one of the most frustrating games.. but hey even if youre having a bad day its a good excuse to get outside and drink beer/ smoke some pot

F that. We always buy a round from her the first time she comes around, tip her $20 and then tell her not to come around anymore. Bringing your own beer is WAY cheaper!

Yeah, we had a family membership at a local course when I was a kid. So, I had lessons and still have a pretty nice swing. But, I don't play enough to score better than mid to high 80's these days.

I started later in life, so the best I can do is the low to mid-90s, because I just don't play enough. I can hit the ball a ton, but then it all falls apart. Can't tell you how many times I hit the hell of a drive, end up in prime position, and then end up with a 6. I also can't tell you the amount of times I drive the ball into the next fairway. Still a blast though.

So, what is that point? To blow a bunch of money to flirt with a chick who is young enough she could be my daughter and have it go no where?
I'd rather spend the time with my buddies... well, most of them.

My brother is a hell of a golfer. He was actually in Hawaii last week to play in the LPGA Pro/Am.
We lead slightly different lives.

Haha, me too. Played a few times with my grandfather when I was a teen. Hit the ball, find the ball, hit the ball again...

Going striper fishing tomorrow for my buddy's bachelor party. Got the boat rented and the beer chilling.
Asked him if he was sure it's not stripper fishing, and he said he made that mistake once since he can't spell and got his buddy in trouble with his wife.
