I'm pretty sure Simmonds last game as a Flyer is Friday.

As for Voracek, trading him and that contract is a little more involved. He just came off a very productive season so we have that going for us.

I don't see them trading both.

I'm not against a trade of Simmonds in the right deal. However I am against trading just to trade him.



Depends on the cost in total, which means all of the factors such as what they have to do to create the roster space. If Elliott hadn't gotten hurt or the timing of it had been better, he would've been fine. I'm not against going with Elliott again next season. I don't trust Neuvirth at all though.



I'd have no issue bringing Manning back as a 7th defenseman. Could do a lot worse.

FA availability is slim. Would be nice if someone internally could step up and take the spot. They will beed a replacement for Filppula.



I don't want to see Weise play another game in a Flyers uniform. Young players need to step up and seize the spots.

I dunno. I like G, Ghost, Provorov, and Jake. Hate the team but I can still enjoy watching the things they do on the ice. I personally don’t think the flyers are that far off from making legit noise. They’ve got a really good core. I don’t know enough about Hak but it seems like everyone hates him. New coach and A few new players and the Flyers will be competing by next year. But one Pens fan said Ghost and Provorov aren’t as good as Oleksiak sooo... you guys are kinda (frank)ed. God. He’s such a moron. Hahahaha

I don't see enough of LH to know. Are there any forwards legitimately ready for the NHL? I hear Vechionne's, Vorobyev's and Aube-Kubel's name. Are they the type of bottom six player that the Flyers seem to need. Fast, physical, tough to play against, can chip in points, play the PK?

Nash would be a real strong add to the team but he is not going to come cheap.

The Flyers future is bright, they're just not a good match against a playoff tested, veteran team. They don't need a new coach, there is just a lot of frustration with the series.

Hakstol sucks and is totally lost and clueless. Seems as though he's trying to get fired if the lineup changes suggested by today's practice stick.

Lappy (PK coach) is way overdue to be fired.

This summer should be very interesting for the Flyers as its about time for them to make some moves for immediate help IMO. With the right moves, I believe they can open the window as soon as next year without sacrificing any of the tail end of it. I don't have much time at the moment so I can't really type out more details.

I think they could all play on the Flyers. Least ready is probably Vorobyev, but he might have the highest upside of the three. There isn't anyone else on the Phantoms I would like to see here next year (forwards)

This an extreme overreaction and is just plain fiction. None of the reported lineup changes are anything that would get Hextall to even consider firing Hakstol for a millisecond.

They need to improve the PK. I personally think it's far more about the players but a change needs to be made. A new voice and fresh ideas on the PK would be a start.

It will take longer than that. The Flyers are possibly looking at a defense corp made up of Provorov, a 3rd year player, Gostisbehere who is young, a 2nd year player in Hagg, Sanheim who is yet to play a full NHL season, and Morin, an NHL rookie.
