Trade all of our good players for other good players
- Mordecai

Crosby and Malkin could switch teams, and the Flyers would still probably be getting their asses handed to them.

The other team is just too system-disciplined, aggressive, well-prepared and battle-hardened.

had a business dinner and missed the game, shucks.

I have two hockey games on Friday. Game 5 will be in the third period by the time I'm done. I'll have to find a streaming radio broadcast for the drive home.

Sucks because the Flyers are going to win and I'd like to be able to watch it.

I'd go for that but I'm not sure Bergevin is doing it.

Also line 3 might need a little help unless you really are expecting a huge bounce from Simmer?

- dragonoffrost

MJL keeps saying he'll bounce back. So then we'll see.

I don't know. He traded Schenn off back to back 25 goal seasons.
- J35Bacher

But Schenn was an overrated piece of crap

Hakstol scratching Sanheim and putting in Hagg while leaving the Gudas /Manning pair intact just proves how inept he is as a coach considering Sanheim has been their 2nd best defenseman this series behind Provorov. Not to mention the refusal to move Giroux to center to at least attempt to decently matchup with the Pens. The guy is out of his element , makes no adjustments in game and when he does adjust something he leaves the garbage in the lineup. If he doesn't get fired after this series I have no faith in Hextall as a GM anymore.
- FreshFlyer

I didnt see the game were Gudas and Manning bad? without seeing the game I would agree, sit one of the wonder twins.

Simmonds is cooked.

If he had anything left it would've been shown by now.

Maybe he will, but its not going to be this season.

He will have off season surgery to repair something (does anyone disagree?)

Personally I think he is traded at the draft. He will get a good return. ESPECIALLY if he has surgery, thus contributing to the narrative that he was hurt and not on some sort of major decline.

This is an example of the overreactions going on. MacDonald has been their second best defenseman followed by Sanheim. Look if that is what happens, I don't agree with it. Sanheim should not come out. I'm happy that Hagg is getting in but not for Sanheim. Look there are some combinations that Hakstol is just not comfortable with. He's not comfortable with too many rookies or young defenseman in the lineup. I can't blame him for that but that is something that needs to be addressed in off season evaluations and plans for moving forward.
Giroux had a Hart trophy worthy 100 point season playing LW so leaving him there is not some outrageous coaching decision. Hakstol is not out of his element, he has made plenty of in game adjustments, they just haven't worked because they clearly don't have the players and the team to make them work. They are a young team who for the most part is not ready for playoff hockey against a seasoned playoff veteran team. He's not likely to be fired, nor should he be. That's an overreaction.

I'll give the flyers this much, they are lying down and dying peacefully. Flyers of the past would be taking people out left and right, starting fights after every play, and running the goalie and our stars... We have finally broke you... Game 5 Prediction...
