Still not as bad as goal scored when the play was so far offside, the Dman had basically slowed up. - BiggE
Nothing's going to replace that one. I can't even watch that one without laughing, that dry laugh of the doomed |

They have to find a way to fix this -- I don't know what the guys on the farm look like, as far as their willingness to compete.
I know you aren't talking about, and I'm not talking about, dirty or cheap players like Rinaldo.
They need a few more guys who care more about losing than they do about winning. That's just my opinion - AllInForFlyers
Konecny plays with heart as does Provorov and Patrick and once Morin gets up here, the whole team will likely play bigger. It's why I'm pissed that Hagg hasn't been in so far. The kid skates and hits and plays solid D, he should of been in the lineup from game 1 on. |

Assuming its still Ghost and Prov, not Mac double shifted haha.
Fil as 1C and Sanheim sat for Manning. This is not a Sanheim for Hagg swap and shouldnt be seen that way in my eyes.

Yeah, I just can't anymore. I'll watch the game, mainly because I've been a diehard fan my whole life, but I'm pretty much resigned to the series ending Friday night, and I doubt it will end pretty.

Dude, honest to God. It's gonna come out that *Couturier blew his knee up and he'll need surgery and will miss months.
EDIT: *Gudas blew Couturier's knee up |

I see it being much like the last two games. Pens score a lot and the Flyers seem indifferent to stopping them. BARF |

That is probably the one thing i am most annoyed about.
He was probably one of the better defenders early in the season. I know Sanheim came up and played well but I thought he should have been in the lineup over either of Gudas or Manning. |

Isn't that probably the most likely thing?
If Couts could've played last night, he would've. That means something isn't stable, to me |

This is my thing a bit sometimes. Obviously one can state that the young players have grown, and some of that credit has to go to Hakstol.
That should not excuse obvious poor decisions. Fil as 1C and you sit Sanheim for Manning? Jesus Christ almighty. |

I call BS on that. No way he plays. If his knee is blown out and they let him travel I might have a spell. |

Has anyone here mentioned Mark Stone yet? He's a RFA, but I imagine Ottawa may not want to pay him by their recent actions. Wouldn't mind trying to get an elite two-way winger that's only 25. Don't know how big the deal would look though. |

I've defended the coach and thinks he gets too much blame for some stuff, not enough credit for others.
But let's just say that I would be hard-pressed to understand 1C-Flip
Not in an elimination game. You move Giroux back to the middle and you run Raffl-Giroux-Voracek, then Lindblom-Patrick-TK, then Weal-Flip-Simmonds
Something like that. You don't pretend that Flip has anything left in his legs to withstand first-line minutes -- he doesn't

Really good player, but they won't move him. They think he'll be the next captain, if/when they move Karlsson
