Maybe they'd have to demote him to LHV, and then LHV would have to demote him to Reading???
- jmatchett383

Not sure they can if he has a NHL contract. Possibly a conditioning assignment like baseball?

I've only been to one, a friend of mine married a Catholic girl.

I sat there for 2 hours, learned about why I'm going to hell, everyone say still for 95% of it, and some guy droned on in monotone. The only thing that made the mass better than last night is when the Priest has God possess his body or some poop and he started talking all robotic-like.

You dont have to tell me, I'm a recovering Catholic

Waiving him would be my move. Can you send an NHL player to the ECHL?
- jmatchett383

I'd waive him. Use the cap savings to promote a guy like Aube-Kubal. Hell maybe Wiese hates it so much he asks to have his contract terminated to sign overseas

And then Reading would have to demote him to Fry Cook at Chik-fil-a

Biggest issue I see as to why these games aren't at least competitive and total blowouts has to be the goaltending. Look at every other single team in the playoffs currently and they all have goalies that are better than Elliott. They need to upgrade that position if they want to be competitive in the playoffs next year plain and simple. When you are a team that seems to be as fragile as this one having a guy like Elliott back there does nothing to help you play your game because you are constantly worried the other team is going to march right back down the ice and score on you no matter how much pressure you may put on them. I like Elliott as a person, seems like a stand up guy but they need to improve in that area. If they plan on going with him and Neuvirth again next season I think that's going to disappoint a lot of people. Hart is still at least 3 years away here.
- FreshFlyer

Call Wasington and see if Holtby or Grubauer are available? My best guess.

Also doesn't help when your team isn't scoring but it's easier to get up to win or come back when you're only down 2 goals and not 5.

Yep. I'd waive him and make him a healthy scratch. Basically, I'd tell him that he will never play another game in the NHL as a Flyer, but that the team is willing to discuss a mutual termination if he refuses his assignment.

Re Hagg: exactly, the kid should be gaining vital experience not sitting out for a piece of crap like Manning.
- BiggE

Hard to not comment when you make it personal, If any D has been bad it’s Ghost , sitting at -7, even last game Sanheim was burned several times as well, Manning and Gudas are both 6/7 D men at this stage and obviously Hak thinks there better than Hagg right now, somehow his opinion carries more weight than yours so back into your mom basement.

So I was trying to think of a trade, a la, Weber for Subban type. Straight hockey deal where both teams got something they thought they needed.

To Philly: Ryan O'Rielly
To Buffalo: Jake Vorcek

Thoughts?

I feel like O'Reilly gives the Flyers the depth down the middle and also upgrade the PK. Also he brings a gritty game and plays that 200 ft game.

Buffalo gets a winger for Eichel that can get him the puck and drive some offense from the wing.

Is it crazy? Does it not work?

It's not crazy. But I'm not thinking clearly today, so I reserve the right to retract this statement.

For all of Jake's flaws, he is an assist machine. Also, with Frost in the pipes, and with Patrick, we may need more help at wing than center.

Guarantee after they are eliminated tomorrow night, the news that Couturier will need ACL surgery will follow.

I get it.

I do think Frost could play wing in the NHL.

I was trying to think of a good hockey trade were both teams get something they need.
