Has anyone here mentioned Mark Stone yet? He's a RFA, but I imagine Ottawa may not want to pay him by their recent actions. Wouldn't mind trying to get an elite two-way winger that's only 25. Don't know how big the deal would look though.

I'd trade Gudas for, really, whatever they can. Weise should be waived. Manning should be be resigned. Filppula will be gone. Lehtera should be the 13F.

The goalies is a whole different story. I'm okay with Elliott as the backup, but Neuvirth has to go and we need at least a Ryan Miller type.

What I would do now, I don't think Hextall has the guts to do and my plan would happen between the Cup being handed out and the day before the draft.

Jake Voracek and Wayne Simmonds. I especially love Wayne Simmonds. I think I would be looking into a Mike Richards and Jeff Carter like return for Voracek and Simmonds that sees us benefit from the draft and next season.

Just what I would do. No doubt in my mind.

personally what I want to see is Filppula, Read and obviously Oduya gone as far as the UFAs. Manning I am torn on. I think he is a fine 7th dman but has been played well beyond what he should. Do they buy Weise out with 2 additional years left on his deal? Dead cap space for 4 years isn't ideal. but the cap hit wouldn't be too awful. 683,333, 1,283,333, 683,333 and again 683,333. Lehtera is a UFA after next season so do you bite the bullet and just carry him? I don't want to see 2 buyouts.

Morin makes this team. I want to see 2 young fast players on the 4th line with Laughton.

the huge hole right now is 3C. that has to be addressed whether its by free agent, promotion or trade.

Simmonds....what to do, what to do. Its been talked about to death. I still feel as tho it all depends on his contract demands. He wants 6 x 6 or something like that I just wouldn't do it. My heart would hate to see Simmonds play for another team but you can't make decisions with you heart. well we can since our opinions don't matter, but Hextall cannot. They still need another top 9 winger (or two if Simmonds is moved). Weal played well last year but he hasn't taken advantage of the opportunity and can they really go into another season with him penciled on at anything but bottom 9 or an extra forward at best? So by my count that is a 3C, 1-2 top 9 wings and 2 4th line wings that need upgrading.

Goaltending. the easy part is no to re-signing Mrazek. Keep the 3rd rounder. too inconsistent. we already have enough of that. I just really wish Neuvirth could stay healthy. The guy could sneeze and pull a muscle. I would re-sign Lyon and Stolarz and let them battle it out to see who splits time with Hart. For all the goaltending woes they have I am not about to let any of them walk. they can find a home for one of them if the Flyers come back with Neuvirth and Ellliott.

Hakstol. I am to the point where I want to see someone else lead this team.
