Lots of good alt and rock bands out there.

Imagine Dragons can die in an aids fire... their music is (frank)ing atrocious. There is very few modern bands that put out good music.

I'll disagree as I think every generation has its own merit-worthy bands and pathetically generic acts that get acclaim because they were marketed well. To me, bands like KISS and Poison are the 80s equivalent of Nickelback
I'd say modern bands like Queens of the Stone Age, the Artic Monkeys and Foo Fighters are still putting out quality music while new bands like Kaleo and Reignwolf are doing well to improve their craft. Kaleo in particular is my favourite group right now!

Its funny you call them modern bands even tho theyve been around for 20 years.
There are almost zero bands consisting of 18-25 year olds making remarkable rock music. Theres that Led Zeppellin rip off band but thats about it.
All ages venues for highschool kids is a wasted effort as kids these days only like hop hop.
I was in highschool when grunge broke. Local all ages shows would have 50 kids at a hall, then Nirvana broke and there were 700kids packing a Sunday Matinee.

Agreed on a lot of the new stuff, but I can get into some of it. 90s was definitely he best.
Aerosmith was the first concert my dad took me to around 1990. So, bit nostalgic there.

Lights (The Canadian Chick) for those pop fans.
Rise Against, Billy Talent for those rock/band based fans.
Every song Hans Zimmers has composed if you're into orchestral (then I suggest you also look into Jeremy Soule's Skyrim Soundtrack).

If you like Rock music you should Scandinavia is where its at. Again, all older dudes but the Hellacopters, Glucifer and Turbonegro are still belting out great rock music.
