A draft pick if the Islanders a few years back. Didn’t get much of chance in the NHL, but performed poorly in the few games he did dress for. He’s rumoured to be wanting a return to the NHL, and both the Islanders and Oilers are said to have interest. He’s done well in the KHL, and could very well be an improvement over Montoya.

Frankly I don’t hate the idea.

Obviously, a very small sample size here, and this isn't indicative of his pro career, but he played a game for the Witchita Thunder and his GAA is 16.39 and his save percentage is .571% He didn't have a great season for the Petes either. Albeit the team was trash.

I still have high hopes for him, but I think Skinner is Edmonton's future goalie. Holy poop is he ever carrying Swift Current.
