Respectfully, no it wasn't Kadri. It was Matthews and Plekanec depending on the situation.

Kadri mostly got Krejci and was never scored against.

The first two games Matthews played the bulk of it against Bergeron.

Game two they rotated Marleau and Nylander between Hyman and Marner, mostly against Krecji with mixed results.

i could see that.

the bold move is putting kadri (or even pleks) on matthews wing instead of hyman.

need to matchup better against that top line in boston. also changes things up. seems like the bruins know our gameplan and are one step ahead of us out there.

Not that that's a bad idea per se, but Hyman has had a very strong playoffs so far, he hasn't been the weak link on that line. He's a very aggressive forechecker.

Unless BAbs gets aggressive in switching lines, Bruins will probably be able to put Bergeron our against Matthews. If that happens, lines 2 through 4 need to outscore Boston. I like Kadri with the old guy and the kid against any of the Bruins lines. If we survive getting back to Toronto, maybe put Kadri out ags8nst Bergeron.

Honestly the line that should be able to shut down the Bergeron line is the Matthews line.

If they can take a wash there, there is no reason lines 2-3-4 can't outscore their Boston counterparts.

You'd just like to give Matthews a bit of a break in the d-zone starts, which is why being able to send out a reliable get it out of your end line can give Matthews a bit of relief.

i liked that going into the series. game 1 was a fail.

one of my 2 big issues is i think we're too predictable out there. seems like there is always a boston player backing up the play in the right spot.
