Morrissey's incident was way worse, the NHL disciplinarians are totally out to lunch and are very inconsistent especially because that p.o.s. Marchand gets away with all his antics by only getting fined and his suspensions are too light.

I'm not calling for escalating punishment. I'm saying that they should look at each incident independently, and when an individual reaches a certain amount of suspensions/fines, they get extra punishment.

I don't think you can be fined in the playoffs. Players don't make money for playoff games and as such only suspensions get handed out.
