This current Flyers D, especially on the PK was just not going to get it done vs Crosby Malkin and that PP.

They are running Manning and Amac vs those guys. And Filp/Lehterä as the forwards.

I’m actually amazed any time the Pens don’t score.

Even if the games were close, the Pens would get a late 3rd period penalty and win the game.

The flyers don’t have the players in the pipeline to replace those guys.
Hextall will have to sign a couple FA’s and make a positive trade for a young skilled guy or two.

I don't like how savagely they're getting dismantled by the Pens, but I think people really need to re-calibrate their expectations. This is a series between one of the youngest teams in the league, with a very inexperienced head coach, up against the defending back-to-back Champs with two of the top-3 players in the league.
