As much as you want to say it's manning, it's lehtara, it's read.....how about simmonds, voracek, Elliott, gostisbehere show up. Giroux had been quiet on a mist win night. Very disappointing effort. If missing couturier makes this team look this bad then he should be hands down the some winner for his defensive game. They look lost in their own zone. Actually everywhere.

I sure am glad Hextalls 5 year plan is on track....personally I like Vegas’s 1 year plan...but who am I to argue.

This has been totally embarrassing.It would of been better if they missed.The only thing these kids are learning is how bad the team they play on is.

I think what I fear most of is next year knowing how Hakstol and Hextall have been working the team and line ups is not a lot will change. I can entirely see most the same players back outside of Read and Filp. If Gudas/Manning/Amac are all under contract next year I foresee them being on this team next year and playing regularly. I see Lehtera and raffl being a regular next year. This organization likes to remain consistent with veteran players over rookies.

I can deal with the losing. I didn't expect them to win this series.

This team just depresses the hell out of me. From 72-89 they were on of the model franchises in the NHL. Since 1989? 27 seasons, 16, soon to be 17 either one in done or failed to qualify.

Gonna have to make some serious decisions his offseason. Only gonna get to spend that Read/Flip money once

Can free up more by moving Simmonds, but at some point, you gotta pay the replacements and they need to be good, too

I dont know where they go, but they have to figure out the PK. Filp and Lehtera are just too slow at center. I think they have to decide let s go young and fast knowing there will be growing pains as opposed to slow and safe. No reason NAK shouldn't be in the bottom 6 after his season with the Phantoms.

Couts is a Selke finalist off a career year, Giroux second in scoring and possible Hart finalist off a career year, Ghost and Provorov looked like Norris possibilities in the future
