LOL
I won't be a hypocrite: Elliott was good for them 95 percent of the season. Not nearly as many bad games and stretches as I had seen from him in past seasons
He was hurt, came back, got them in.
It's just frustrating right now. They need a damn save - AllInForFlyers
Elliott did not come back and get them in. He was bad against Carolina but the offense bailed him out and an average ECHL goalie could have beat the Rags team that barely showed up for game 82.
Anyone with working eyes could see how rusty Elliott was. Inconsistent or not, Mrazek was healthy and had playoff experience. He should have been the guy. And if not, now that he’s healthy, they should of tried Neuvirth tonight. It was worth a try. |

Does Hart get a legitimate shot at making the team this September? |

If neuvirth is good enough to be on the bench he should at least get a start. You can always put Elliott in if necessary if they but he wouldn't be playing any worse at this point than Elliott |

They're basically just running around chasing the Penguins who are pretty much doing whatever they want. |

Trade Simmonds, cut the dead weight in favor of kids knocking on the door. Sign Raanta. Throw out an offer to Tavares, it can't hurt. |

They need a better #1 for next season. - Scoob
Yeah. There's guys out there. Gonna depend on how much they wanna pay
I don't give a poop about blocking Hart because for all I know, he might never make a save for the Flyers and he's not even 20 years old |

I like Hakstol better than most, but come on. He's not telling Elliott to not make a single save, Mrazek to be a sieve and Neuvirth to be made of glass - AllInForFlyers
Of course he isn't, it would be ridiculous to think that, but I don't think his style of coaching works with these players. Goaltending is obviously the primary problem and I sincerely hope that Carter Hart, one of the other prospects, or someone else altogether ends up being a long term answer |

IMO until we get A LOT better on the back end and more creative with the puck moving it up the ice and getting better in coverage down low etc this is what we will continue to deal with. It will only start when we get rid of Gudas/Amac/Manning. Forwards are not entirely our big issue. Our back end is our major problem. |

No. I can't see how he leapfrogs the AHL completely.
Bare minimum I think he's getting at least 3 months down in the A. |
