I don't think it would change this game at all, but i dislike how Hak responses to the flow of the game overall. Light a fire under them every once in a while, call a time out to refocus, make a change before it's too late, etc. Hak doesn't instill confidence in me with a lot of his decisions and I think their play is a product of it all

Hak’s handling of goalies has been questionable at best since he’s been here. He’ll ride a guy to death and then we’re stuck with a guy who’s barely played for a month. FFS, Elliott hadn’t played 50+ games for years and Hak rolls him out there during the season night after night like he’s (frank)ing Marty Brodeur. No wonder he broke down.
