Don’t understand the call for Haag at this point. They guy hasn’t played in a month. Why would you want to throw him into this mess? - Dkos
Might as well say the same thing about Elliott. |

Elliott is painfully slow moving side to side. Lucky Malkin didn’t pot that wrap around near the end of the period. If I’m Giroux and this ends in a loss (seems inevitable) I’m calling out Elliott after this game after his comments following Game 3. They have the Pens pinned down for what seemed like 3 minutes straight and the goalie lets one trickle through his legs. Joke. - IvanBrovorov
Penguins got so many good looks. Their lucky their within 2. |

There's a big difference between a slash and what Simmonds did. It was stick on stick play with Simmonds effectively preventing the clear. That's a bad call in my view. So was the call on Read. Two players were battling, both should've went. The Pens player hooked Read who then grabbed and held his stick. |

Hextall's not an idiot. He sees exactly what we are seeing. He is more patient than I am. I'd try to fix all of it the freaking second this season ends - AllInForFlyers

That’s it. Just because some of the young guys aren’t deemed ready that’s no excuse to stick with absolutely poopty vets...others teams wouldn’t...it’s (frank)ing ridiculous how certain guys haven’t been jettisoned out of town. No excuse. - landros 2
Yup, I’ve (frank)ng had it. This is what I want to see next season:
G-Coots-TK
Lindblom-Patrick-Jake
Laughton-Vecchione-Aube-Kubel
Raffl-Vorobyev-Allison
Provorov-Ghost
Sanheim-Hagg
Morin-AMac
Someone better than Elliott
Lyon or Stolarz

Hebrought the stick down pretty hard though. I am surprised the Pens player did not immediately drop the stick... |

I agree. He shouldn’t be playing, but the coach apparently feels he’s the best option. |

I thought it was a dig at me lol.
Assuming they lose, I really hope hagg gets in for game 5 - JFlyers00
No, they'll lose and no lineup changes will beade outside of a hurt Coots being re-inserted into the lineup. And yes, Elliot will still tend the twine. |

I disagree, I think it was the right call. Simmonds stick was in the guy's hands. |

They had to play Elliott when they did, though -- Mrazek and Lyon weren't gonna get them in
That being said, he would be sitting next to me for period 2 tonight

I kind of agree with you on Simmonds. Kerry Fraser tweeted that it was a call consistent with how it has been called all season. |

Yes because yelling would tie this game up pronto - Scoob
I don't think it would change this game at all, but i dislike how Hak respondes to the flow of the game overall. Light a fire under them every once in a while, call a time out to refocus, make a change before it's too late, etc. Hak doesn't instill confidence in me with a lot of his decisions and I think their play is a product of it all |

I have noticed the Pens seem to isolate on the ref to use him as a pick. Great strategy. Why aren't the Flyers doing this? |
