I'm not advocating it, just saying that in their specific case it worked for them. Like I said, I don't like the idea of it, but I think I'd be cool with tanking and getting 3 cups.

They didn't tank and I would be willing to bet that if Patrick Kane was on the 2010 Flyers team, we'd have a Cup! If they tanked all those years and only got RNH & Yak quality players then yeah. It wouldn't have worked out too well.
