I've never been to a playoff game before. I am excited
- YuenglingJagr

Same. I contemplated stubhub but I can't get out of work in time to make the game.

are the lightning your #2?
- Ftown19125

(frank) no lol I don't have a number 2, I worked there for 6 years when I first moved to Tampa so I've got a bunch of friends who still work there and they hooked me up with some free tix, I like some of their players but I don't care if they win or lose. I just hope they make it to the ECF so I can watch the Pens play them here again.

if he's out - does Lindblom get back in?

go with

Voracek - Giroux - Konecny
Simmonds - Patrick - Weal
Raffl - Filppula - Lindblom
Laughton - Lehtera - Read

- flyersfan51

I’m sorry. I’m done with with read and Lehterä. I’d rather throw anybody we have in the lineup with speed. Not Weise though lol.

That's not surprising. Even if he is able to go tonight, I wouldn't expect him to be on skates at all prior to warmup.

As much as I dislike it, it worked. And the sixers also did it, and it seems to be working so far.
- Ftown19125

Tanking hasn't worked so well for Edmonton now has it? For every example of it working, there's one that shows it doesn't work.

Edmonton, Buffalo and Arizona have sucked for ages. Guess just picking in the top 5 every year isn't enough.

don't apologize - I'm sick of them both too. Lehtera skates in concrete and Read is just unnoticeable.

He was 82. Yeah, most of these guys don't age well, especially the guys who's careers were mainly in the 70s and 80s. The combo of years of a brutal travel schedule, drug abuse, steroid abuse and way to many hard shots to the head to count takes a toll.

edit: Flair is 69, but with the amount of booze he's ingested over the years, it's amazing he's made it this long!

I would also 100% believe that Voracek is nursing an injury right now.

Makes sense. Coots and Simmonds are both injured to some degree, Voracek may be too, and Filppula can't afford to waste what little he has left in practice.

I'm not advocating it, just saying that in their specific case it worked for them. Like I said, I don't like the idea of it, but I think I'd be cool with tanking and getting 3 cups.
