That called back offside goal was great! I loved the looks on all of the Duckies' faces.
Playoff sweeps are so embarrassing aren't they? The other teams that barely missed the playoffs would have done much better against the Sharks.
Getzlaf is probably still whining to his wife about it! - JLO961
lol. Oiler fans. I guess all you can do is talk crap when your team blows every year for years and the one time you do make the playoffs and seem good, you get eliminated by the team your talking crap about.

I also thought that the GM recognized even if the team makes the playoffs that he needs picks in the draft to keep the cupboard stocked.
Now if you can only transition your great defense drafting into some forward drafting. - Aaron_85
They've started to trend back towards offense. Troy Terry, Sam Steel, Max Jones, Maxime Comtois. I would imagine all of these guys would have a really good chance at making the team next year. There's also a bunch of kids on the Gulls who had pretty decent seasons and deserve a shot at the NHL. It will definitely be a different looking team next year. |

That's cool!
Man the Ducks have been pretty good in drafting in general. Even Rakell and Gibson were good picks. |

Don't forget larssen ..he either plays..or they'll get a nice young scoring forward(doubt they trade him tho). .either way ducks are in great shape for next season. .forward and defense prospects are looking great for this team! ..all the best in the off season. GM Bob will right the ship! |

How much are tickets to a Ducks game in playoffs? Say for lower bowl
$50-100? Lol - LeafGuy89
I literally saw a Game one or two ticket going for $900 it was pathetic. Who in their right mind would pay that for a first round playoff game. I don’t care where you are. And yes I understand the Leafs have outrageous ticket prices. Still way too much for first round. |

Takes one to know one. At least we went to the playoffs. Pathetic loser. - quackup
I’m going to say this again. I’d rather miss the playoffs then lose in the fashion LA and Anaheim did. At least now a days you can have a chance at getting moved up in the draft instead of ending with the 20th pick.
Although it was a good direction for Kings more so than Ducks due to the fact most people pegged the kings outside of the playoffs. |

Don't be a d_ck (vowel = i). Ducks were in games 2 and game 4. |

So they were in 50% of their games, and outscored 16-4 in the series. Good point. |

Lose 8-1, lose 1-0, only difference is you're in one and not the other. Loss is still a loss.
Ducks were in 2 of 4 games. . Other two they stunk. What's so difficult to understand? |

Nothing. We are in agreement that the Kings were far more competitive than the Ducks, and the Knights had a far tougher series than the Sharks who had a walk in the park. |

I think I would have rather lost the way the Ducks did then the Kings. Kings were competitive and in every game yet lost heart breakers for a sweep. The ducks on the other hand were more on the awful side and were never really in a game so it's not heart wrenching. More frustrating and generating rage. |

Your statement may be true but from a player perspective a loss is a loss! Both Quackup and I are watching other teams play and our teams are cleaning out their lockers and setting tee times! It’s little consolation! |

This is a dumb statement! You always want to work hard and leave it all on the ice! I think an argument could be made the Ducks didn’t. |

I think being in every game and losing 4 1-goal games is far more frustrating. To think your team was jobbed with a suspension and have the replacement player go -2 in a 2-1 loss stings like a mother (frank)er!! To have an early goal stand up as the game winner while your team gets shot after shot saved or blocked stings like a mother (frank)er. To have an ex-member of the squad score the series clincher after being exposed in lieu of a crappier dman (looking at you Forbert) stings like a mother (frank)er. But I'm over it, I swear! |

I have go agree. If not for zero luck the Kings would be facing the Sharks and I would have loved to watch the Sharks get harpooned again by the Kings. |
