I absolutely root for the Ducks. I live 2 miles from Honda Center. We've probably sat near eachother. - Steve Palumbo
Yeah well the Sharks blogger still seems like he is enjoying this way more than you are. |

That was comically bad. Pretty fitting end to the season. Something hasn't been quite right all season. They would play pretty good for small stretches and then turn around and lose to Detroit and Arizona back-to-back. I just hope these bozo's don't do something stupid and win game 4. I don't want to have to pay for another playoff game this year. Just quietly slink off into the off season and let's see what Barstool Bob can pull off at the draft. - duxcup07
How much are tickets to a Ducks game in playoffs? Say for lower bowl
$50-100? Lol

Typical. You guys win one game and your all proud of yourselves. Let's see you win 2 from the Bruins before you start puffing out your chest. |

You know I just had a idea. Since the NHL is thinking of changing the playoff format again. I think we should go to a 16 team double elimination with a loser bracket. You would have to cut down the series length from 7 to 5 but I would love a chance to beat a second team in the playoffs. And quite frankly these series are just to long. It takes 2 weeks to decide the out come. Something that takes that long should be more important. Like the Stanley cup. But not the first round. |

My bad. You may root for the Ducks, but not against the Sharks. You're not neutral either Steve. It's subtle in your blogs. If you were forced to rank the two teams, Sharks would be first. I guess that's my point.
All is good though. I still very much enjoy your posts. - quackup
I'm a NJ guys living in So Cal. You figure out the rankings from there. 😁 |

I don't agree with this "fossil" Kings crap. They just held a power house offense to 7 goals in 4 games, two 1-0 games and 2x OT... This wasn't like the GK outskated the Kings so badly and were scoring at will on them and banging up a 8-1 wins. Granted Quick was the one keeping this from happening but that's why it's a team game. Games 1 and 4 had nothing to do with the plodding Kings not being in the game due to the speed of the GKs, it had to do with their finishers drying up like they're want to do. Game 2 was possibly a Drew Doughty away from going in their favor (remember, his replacement Gravel was a -2). So please stop with all this "dinosaur NHL" bullpoop. If it wasn't for Flower's insane glove, this series would still be going, or over in the other direction. And don't forget, the worst for Flower is yet to come, as it inevitably will come, ask PIT about it. |

And it seems to me someone is a little immature. As a season ticket holder, I can tell you exactly how much lower bowl tickets cost for the playoffs. Now, because California (which is taxed enough) isn't taxed at the ridiculous rate Toronto is, lower bowl tickets did sell for under $100 in some areas if you were a season seat holder and renewed for next year. But if your stupid comment was meant to insinuate Ducks couldn't sell out, you're wrong, as all tickets were gone within a couple of days. If you're saying someone is trying to resell their tickets cheap now because the team is down 0-3, so what. |

The dude said he doesn't want his own team to win so he doesn't have to buy another ticket, so I simply asked how much they were. Cause I knew they would be cheap since most low market teams in the USA are. I'd pay that price for every game without hesitation.
I asked a simple question and you guys blew it way out of proportion thinking I was trolling, which I wasn't.
Anyways, good luck in the rest of the series. I have Ducks taking the series so let's hope for a comeback.

Fair enough. During the regular season, the cheapest seat in the lower bowl is $65.00 and goes up to $140 (glass $286). |

That called back offside goal was great! I loved the looks on all of the Duckies' faces.
Playoff sweeps are so embarrassing aren't they? The other teams that barely missed the playoffs would have done much better against the Sharks.
Getzlaf is probably still whining to his wife about it!

The Ducks didn't have the cap room to get Kane. Besides, they were playing like sh!t at the time of the deadline and Murray didn't want to spend assets for a team that might not have made the playoffs. - duxcup07
I also thought that the GM recognized even if the team makes the playoffs that he needs picks in the draft to keep the cupboard stocked.
Now if you can only transition your great defense drafting into some forward drafting. |
