BREAKING: Calgary #Flames announce firing of head coach Glen Gulutzan, along with assistants Dave Cameron and Paul Jerrard #TSNHockey

- jimbo83

I think AV is going to get hired real quick as teams start to get worried about more teams entering the coaching search market.

I have absolutely no idea who the Rangers are going to hire. Not even a good guess.

I was sure they would make the playoffs. One of the worst underachievers this season

Zach Parise will miss to six to eight weeks with a broken sternum. It happened on the last or second to last shift of Game 3.

Huge blow, had goals in each of the three games of series. Tyler Ennis is in

Winnipeg Jets writer, (and I believe their blogger on this site), in Peter Tessier had reported earlier that Parise would be sidelined on a "week to week" basis from his broken sternum injury. I guess that him suffering further lingering symptoms could extend it much longer to a 2 months period.

R.I.P. John Amirante, the best one there will have ever been at MSG in singing both the U.S., and when appropriate, the Canadian National Anthems.
The Bronx born, John Amirante retired after 2015, and died Tuesday of natural causes, after although having been hospitalized for about one week. Prior to beginning singing the National Anthem(s) at MSG in the 1980 season, he had also done so in earlier years on special occasions at not only Knicks games, but also on that occasional basis at some Mets and Yankees games.
The Rangers did themselves wonders with Amirante, in the same way that the Montreal Canadiens had done for many earlier years with the great, one and only, Roger Doucet, who passed away shortly after the time John began his own "one and only" great reign regularly at MSG.

Russo, used to be a wild beat writer. Now works for the Athletic. I think he has the inside track on what's going on with the Wild.

Looks like an accidental leg to leg hit.
Or did Gudas "Orpik" Couturier ..... except slightly lower than that Orpik knee to knee cheap shot administered on Stepan back under Torts reign here.

You hope it’s just a charley horse but that looked really ugly. Watched it a few times. Sure looked close to knee to knee. Odd drill to be doing in practice or else someone screwed up the drill

If it is a knee injury, it is at minimum an MCL one in nature, in which his knee would swell excessively and be sprained, but if at mid to serious grade in severity, would also be partially torn at the least. That would require complete rest for the least involved of the remedies.
