R I P J Amirante , one of the best , voice could pierce the garden throngs

loved his turn to pan the crowd as he held the note at the end ..... Legendary

now all his been turned over on this NYR squad , need a new top voice to replace

the singing cop Rodriquez? booming voice , will need one for next yrs P O's

I just really wanted to point out the 4 defensemen who would definitely be here next season if the Rangers won the lottery

the last thing in the world I enjoy doing is possible line combinations in the off season

bit, my overall point was, winning the lottery is a game changer

it gives them flexibility to trade for that elusive top pairing right handed defenseman if they want to, gives them loads of options

Carp doesn't think Bill Peters (if available) or Sheldon Keefe are high on the Ranges coach want list

yeah

here is his comments in Athletic:

COACHING SEARCH: Much is being made about the out clause in the contract of Carolina coach Bill Peters. But there aren’t many NHL head coach openings at the moment – Dallas and New York, but that list will likely grow – and I haven’t heard a hint of a whisper of him being on the Rangers’ radar. The Rangers also happen to be 25-4 in their last 29 games against Carolina, so …

Meanwhile, assistant coach Lindy Ruff met with Rangers’ GM Jeff Gorton and they will meet again in a few weeks. It’s not clear whether Ruff is a candidate for the head coaching position, or, more likely, if it will be left to the new coach to determine if Ruff remains on the staff as an assistant. The Rangers’ penalty killing improved dramatically under Ruff this season.

I also continue to hear that Sheldon Keefe, the popular name among coaching candidates and the Toronto Marlies (AHL) coach, is not at the top of the Rangers' list.
