Lol. Yep that makes all the difference.
McQuaid has owned Martin in every scrap they've had.
Not that fighting is gonna have any impact in this series.
Marchand will get his eventually.
We all do.

Having a visor makes a huge difference, pretty common sense. Imagine getting into a fight with someone and they had a huge visor when you were trying to punch them, that doesnt make a difference?

I'm only gonna bring up this specific play cause I don't think anyone else has, but how much whining and crying would the Leaf faithful be doing right now if that obvious delay of game penalty which resulted in a goal was the other way and the Bruins had scored?
This question has nothing to do with any other play or sequence in the game. Just this one.
Remain on topic please.

What is Mcquaid supposed to do? The league mandates that players wear visors. They also are not supposed to purposely take off there helmet.... So hes supposed to not punch the guy in the face...?
- Mahewman

Actually, Mcquaid isn't required to wear a visor, and from what I recall he didnt used to. It was a rule which was grandfathered in, and he is before the cutoff(26 GP before 2013-14 season). I think its a good idea to wear a visor, but to state he got demolished and not look at it holistically doesn't make sense.

Hate the new rules. Gloves off, helmets off. Let them fight.

Yeah I get both sides of it, but if they are going to actually let them fight they need to let them take off their helmets. If they didnt want the head injuries from fighting just get rid of fighting I guess.

Absolutely. The way it is now is a half measure. I would like them to make an actual decision. Either keep fighting or ban it.

Are you saying that when you're trying to punch someone in the face it doesn't matter if they have a big piece of hard plastic covering half their face? Please tell me that's not what you're saying.

I see a few people complaining about the glass penilty missed call. Kinda like if they had missed an offside ? That resulted in a goal ; p funny how the hockey gods always even things out

I would love to see Matt Martin just lay out Marchand... Backes is big but a weak cry baby, I remember seeing Seabrook knock him out with one punch when he was on the Blues... Toews was chirping wakey wakey...
- jacksonNYR

I for one would LOOOVE Martin to be in the lineup, would be a white flag for toronto. He's played like 2 games since the trade deadline right?

Was that the 5 or 7 goal game? You can challenge offsides (Babcock chose not to) you can't challenge over the glass.

What about the two missed icings that were about 20 seconds before two of Toronto's goals...

There are always missed thing. Fact is that In both games, Boston won by 4 goals. Those errors pale in comparison to the mistakes in a 4-2 game.

I also believe, they originally called that it deflected and then huddled, and some one of them convinced the other 3 that it cleared the glass. It needs to be a unanimous decision so someone should buy that ref a drink.

You were probably the first guy (or whatever you indentify as....don't want to hurt your feelings anymore then I already have) in line, when Kadri laid his garbage hit, to call for his head. And Kadri isn't half the goon Marchand is. I'm sick of "fans" like you sticking up for a scumbag like him and then complaining that everyone hates the guy. You have to defend him because he is on your team. Its what all fans do.

Either that or you are that goon type that wants to give Komarov a kiss on the cheek or lick his face ( )

BTW its *there

- tornayle

Don't worry your not hurting my feelings it's ok
tired of all the whining we will see what happens next game.

Thought the Series has been 2 games that could have gone either way and one b*tch slap by the Bruins

Best part of it is, it will be settled on the Ice
and your Leafers are too Soft sorry but it's True

conspirator theorists are suggesting that they put the whistles away to give toronto a chance, they suck on PP and PK, but are pretty decent 5 on 5
