Best Italian food I ever had in my life was in Veradero. It's Cuba, it's safe to get out and explore. Resort food is poop though.

Yeah, my food experience centered mainly around an all-in. We went on one day trip to Moron and got roped into eating at a tourist trap which was kind of annoying. I would definitely go out and explore given the chance, if we're not stranded on a Cayo hours away from the closest city.

Someone said something about Kapanen playing well, and how we might get something out of the Kessel trade after all. Then Blaze said, "Well we essentially got Andersen from the Kessel trade", referring to the fact we used the pick we got from Pittsburgh.

Somehow this resulted in UG going on for about 6 pages.
-first starting on how we didn't get Andersen from the Kessel trade
-then it became we didn't need to trade Kessel to get Andersen
-finally somehow the argument shifted to the idea that Kessel didn't need to be traded at all and we didn't get enough for him in trade.

Basically I think once he realized he looked dumb arguing the very first point, he kept shifting things into a better argument for himself. Finally everyone else got tired and went to bed.

Look back at the impressive haul they got for Kaberle once upon a time. It eventually turned out to be absolutely nothing. 1st, 2nd, and 1st round prospect became nothing.

It's not bad asset management to make the playoffs. They spent an asset on Plekanec, because that's what teams do that are playoff teams.

What if they let Gardiner walk but sign Doughty, would you be pissed then?

We got Andersen, not because we had the extra first rd pick, but because we had a 2nd rd pick that Anaheim may or may not have wanted..

I spent a lot outside an all-in resort because it was way more fun but the resort was right in town. Veradero is a nice size to explore, I would highly recommend it.

Noted. We were thinking about Varadero but at that time we had a very 'get away from it all' mentality and just wanted to sit on a beach for a week so we chose someplace a bit further away from everything.
