I'm confident Every thing he does by accident is on purpose and it deserved a 1 game suspension because he's always trying to injure. - Aaron_85
Amazing he didn't get a penalty for tripping Marner while they're lined up for the faceoff. It was right in front of the (frank)ing ref. No way he didn't see it. How is that ok? |

You know with being able to talk to free agents what a week early now, if Tavares isn't going to happen I could see a 2-3 year deal being possible. Not likely but possible.
Similar salary as to what he makes now. He can get more term elsewhere but I think the allure of this team being on cusp of hopefully multiple runs will make him leave years on the table. - Blazed
I think he'd get a bit of a discount too. Like 3 million ish. Leafs would take him back as slim pickings for depth centers. Babcock trusts him.

I’d prefer it if Kadri scored it while Marchand lay unconscious behind the Leafs’ net, courtesy of a Kadri hit.
Have him stretched off while they do the handshakes.

That’s horrible, terrible, gruesome, and just awful awful sportsmanship.
I’m in. |

Yeah I want to know what incriminating evidence he has on the officials to get away with all that |

Love the reference, but there's no way Lundgren really could have killed Weathers.
Creed would have closed Dragos eyes with that Jab. |

I thought Bozak and JVR has been good so far, I don't even think they were that terrible compared to the rest of the team in game 1 or 2.[/img] |

Kids got definite skills, but we'd be poopting all over him if that one really bad giveaway had resulted in a goal.
You know, the one where he tried a pass through the middle and it got intercepted by a Bruin when still in our zone? I think it was at the end of the 2nd period.
I think he's a good player with real skill, but he still has those brain farts that just make you want to rip your hair out. - Thecakeisalie
But also remember that pass that set Kapanen on a breakaway?
He hits a lot of those, but there will be misses. |

Hard to say. With the amount of quality wingers ready to go I'd be comfortable giving Nylander that sheltered offensive role. He was strong on strong side faceoffs tonight. |

True.
Overall, I think we're a better team with him than without. He makes mistakes, but I think the good he brings outweighs the bad. |

5 good hockey plays will never be remembered over 1 bad play. The Leafs are a better team with Gardiner, if he goes they will need a replacement.

I agree, he was the best D tonight. Rielly was good also
But Polak has been good.....say what you want about him but he adds an element to the Leafs blue line that they need...at least during the playoffs.
I think it also helps that he just has to wack the puck to Dermott and he magically gets it out. |
