Vancouver Canucks - he likes salmon fishing for winter springs and Aquilini will overpay him and insist on him being our new captain |

I’m sure most elite players who’ve barely played in the playoffs would want to go to rebuilding team... it just makes sense. |

Considering they’ve recently been to the cup, and had some great playoff runs... not to mention a couple of Stanley cups under their belt I’d say that’s complete bullpoop |

Someone’s bitter. I would be too if I had Milbury AND Snow running that poop show for the last 20 years. |

Nothing like a bitter islander fan still leaning on the four cups they won 40 years ago probably before he was born! no help in sight as long as gaff is running the ship! |

The Devils are in a position to only get better and better over the next few years, why the Devils aren’t mentioned is interesting.. They have plenty of Cap space, it would keep him close to home, and if has any interest in also winning joining Taylor Hall and Nico Hischier would in my eyes be more attractive option over a rebuilding Rangers who might sign a 35 year old as the first building block of their rebuild. |

If you take of the homer glasses for just a second you would see why any free agent elite or middle of the road wouldn’t chose the devils over the rangers even though there is zero chance J.T. signs with the rangers there’s NO chance he signs with the devils |

If Tavares wants to become a Leaf, I believe it will happen. It will suck to have to trade Nylander or Marner, but that would make a trade for a top pairing d=man happen. |
|
|
|
Probably. Who else can realistically pay him ? |

Tavares would look great in Jersey. What a Powerhouse they would be. |

I’m not from anywhere near so no homer......but look at how good that NJ would be. They are already better than the Islander and Rangers....adding JT would elevate them to the elite. |
