3 games ? I was thinking 1 Refs missing the elbow might have been called if Kadri didn't come flying in. - cabin
Also, a lot of people pointing to the missed elbow call are forgetting the Kadri knee on knee earlier that was not called. It's a wash if anything.
Another thing people are over looking is Kadri not thinking before he speaks. The interview with him post game has him immediately spouting off how he "saw the missed elbow"... he basically paints a predatory hit with his own comments.

What qualifications did they hire him on in the first place? Simply that he used to play hockey and needed work? - Thecakeisalie
There are no qualifications for the role. Heck Stephane Quintal was in charge before. |

If we lost Kadri to injury for 3 games we’d be ok. And we’ll be fine now. It will fire the guys up and they’ll rally around Naz.
Big win coming tomorrow night. |

None of your opinion has anything to do with being a Vancouver fan, right.

There is no way he gets more than 1 game. The player fell to his knees as he was already committed to the hit. - harza
I still don’t know how any sane person can see it this way?? He is down well before Kadri is anywhere near him.
More games than I thought but good on the league for sending a message to a repeat offender. |

He's a Princeton grad.
Very intelligent and capable.
He's going to get rid of non hockey, chicken poop type nonsense like Marchand pulls and the recklessness like Kadri displayed last night.
You could kill a man doing what he did.
For the record I like Kadri a lot. I wish he was a Bruin.
I guessed 3.

I would 100% agree. If it actually looked that way (sending a message)
When they apply that rule to Marchand one day, I will believe it. Kadri has a career of questionable hits. Marchand has a career of intentionally dirty and dangerous play.
5000 fine vs. 3 playoffs games.
Wasn't there 2 other head shots last night in the NHL... any other suspensions?
the only message being sent is, yet again, the Bruins get the benefit. Nothing for licking faces? throwing water bottles on the ice to get a rest, forearm shivers to the head... hell Lucic didn't 3 games (?) for intentionally hacking at someones nuts in front of everyone. I am sure other people could think of more examples. |

Annnnd the Babblers response is Moar Komorov.

I cannot believe Bruins fans here chirping about how legit it is when Marchand pretty much gets a slap on the wrist for his endless infractions.
Are you even capable of actual thought?

I'm shocked Wilson didn't get at least one game. |

So how many games should a repeat offender who was recently suspended for multiple games get after that suspension for cross checking a defenseless player in the face? |

If this hit is 3 games then the Giroux hit on Letang earlier tonight has to be at least 10 right? |

Eh as long as the standard stays the same then so be it... although not sure how Wilson escaped punishment |

If Marchand is busy licking Komorov, then he isn't busy scoring. Babcock is fiendishly clever. |

I thought he actually was speaking out against Marchands poop and hoping Parros puts it to an end. I don’t think he was comparing anything, but hey I’m drinking so my reading comprehension isn’t at its peak
Anyways, I expected a game 2 max, but 3 is too much. |

To be honest if a Leafs player was hit like that I’d want the book thrown at the offending player. Kadri had time to ease up and instead he went right through the guy. |

Not defending the shyt Marchand pulls. He should get 20 games for his next dumb thing he will do...and he will do something stupid again soon because he’s well...Marchand. |

Bruins... consider the history here. Every other fanbase has been noting this for years.
