I'm not going to defend Kadri but WHY the (frank) do Boston fans always say this? The guy repeatedly gets slaps on the wrist for egregious poop. You'd think a guy sitting on what? 6? 7? suspensions and numerous fines would see something over a game or two for HIS history but nope... - markmark

This will be an even bigger joke when Wingels plays Game 2. |

Ask FCN for some tips. I hear he has good runs. |

So, Is Sir Patrick moving to center? Martin comes in on that line? |

Should have been 2 but DoPS (frank)ed up by suspending Doughty and had to base this off that. |

It wasn’t vicious but it was blatant contact to the head, it was obvious but both refs chose to look the other way which led to the Kadri check. - LeafMan
Really? Kadri had just gotten away with a knee on knee earlier in the game. Seems like he got a pretty good break from the refs earlier.
Everything about the hit was predatory from a predatory player. Regular season he gets 5 games or more probably. |

Nothing but #69. - Steven_Seagull
That is acceptable. If Aetherial's reputation is anything to go by, it'll take him hardly anytime at all to finish the first 68. |

But 3 playoff games is essentially almost half a regular season worth of suspension... |

Veteran Patrick Marleau was shifted to the middle on the line with Marner and Zach Hyman. Veteran Leo Komarov skated with Matthews and Nylander and Andreas Johnsson took Komarov’s spot on the fourth line with Tomas Plekanec and Kasperi Kapanen.

Unless Babs is (frank)ing with the Bs coaching staff, this is what they went with in practice today:
Komarov-Matthews-Nylander
Hyman-Marleau-Marner
Van Riemsdyk-Bozak-Brown
Johnsson-Plekanec-Kapanen |

Wow. I didn’t like the hit at all despite Wingels’ Elbow but thought 1 game 2 max. I honestly thought it’d be 2 and 3 seems a bit aggressive. |

If Wingels didn't stumble at the last second then turn to face the boards something players never used to do it wouldn't have even been a penalty. Having said that Kadri didn't show any effort in slowing up which was likely too late to stop so yes it was dirty and worthy of a game.
3 is too much and no Marchand will likely commit multiple egregious offences this series and will not even get a sniff of suspension. - Blazed
Yeah because Marchand isn't absurdly over scrutinized for anything he does...
Kadris hit was premeditated. Puck is gone. Wingels is on his knees and Kadri destroys his head against the glass.... He also launches his body at him. What arent you guys seeing? He had space and time to not hit him. If he wants to go after him he doesn't need to hit him like that.
Again i dont want to see Kadri out of the series at all but that was dumb.
Sucks that we are even talking about it but that is the NHL now.

Not surprising at all, Leafs always get the short end of the stick with the league.
People who have the audacity to say the Leafs get preferential treatment from the league are talking out of their ass. |

Pre-meditated? Considering less than two seconds before Wingels was upright facing North with the puck I'm curious what your definition of pre-meditated is.
Did him and Babs draw that up on the bench?
