Can no longer hit Bruins players if you play for the Leafs. The League has spoken.

Marleau has played a lot of playoff games, way more than the average guy but his performances have always been rather pedestrian to me, all things considered. He's not terrible but he's not the "grab the game by the horns and dominate" type of guy by any stretch either. I was never impressed with his playoff games with San Jose, especially when he was in his prime, surrounded by All-Stars and on a team that was considered to be a Cup favorite every year but always fell short.

From what I've seen, the majority on here are arguing the length of suspension, not the hit. Some are comparing the hit to some of the others that happened that same night in other games. That's about it.

Watched the hit a few times since: yeah, 2 games, 3 excessive.

It's the inconsistencies in the calls that I find the most frustrating: majors, minors, suspensions are all a total crapshoot. It does nothing to deter the players from taking chances either.

It's kind of a joke Parros is the guy too, an enforcer? And he played in the NHL not too long ago, he's most definitely going to have teams and players he likes over others. Not saying it helps his decision but there's no way to prove it either way
