My doc wouldn't give me Percocet. I was given hydromorphone.

Well then you got the good stuff then. Percocets are for kids.

Over the course of the whole thing, I got a few percocet perscriptions. I didn't use many pills.

Never heard of it... does it work?
- Aetherial

Not very well, did nothing for me, but I felt weird.

I stopped taking them after 3 pills, went to T3 instead, it's what they gave me after surgery, no side effects with them.

Avoid them if you can. I got hooked on em about 10 years ago. Made being an oilers fan tolerable though.

Hydromorphone did nothing but codeine worked? You need to speak to your dealer about the quality of their product

Kadri deserved a game at least, 2 seemed fair but that extra game was really a statement from Parros and the NHL. They suspended Doughty, a big name player and gave Kadri an extra game just to make everybody understand they're for real.

Yeah some people can have good effect with one type of opiate, and bad side effects poor pain control with others. Hydromorphone is a lot stronger than codeine, which is just converted to morphine by the liver. Could have an allergy to the hydro.

As long as they are consistent I guess its a good thing in the long run. Just be consistent.

I didn't see it myself, but everyone seems to be going on about Tom Wilson today? Wonder if that will result in games lost.

Edit: Looks like Wilson somehow didn't even get a hearing, so there goes that hope for some (frank)ing consistency. Thanks DOPS.

If it was Marchard who hit Brown exactly the same way, you'd want him suspended so it's a matter of consistency, as you said. I didn't see what Tom Wilson did but it's obvious the NHL is serious about punishing players for dangerous plays.

Young team. But pretty resilient. This series is going at least 6 imho.

Too bad Ratboy didn't get suspended for Weinsteining the shyt out of Komarov.

Dude, I've gone through three procedure for a 4cm by 4cm staghorn stone, PCNL surgery, which left 4 big stones they couldn't get because of trauma to my kidney., plus a stent. 4 days after surgery i was back in the hospital with fragments stuck in the urethra. 4 weeks after went for shockwave, it didn't work, now I have laser scheduled in two weeks.

I feel bad for BOTH of you guys. There's gotta be an easier way for you to get your rocks off (out?).

that resiliency will now be tested

hopefully, we have the Marleau effect to assist the Buds.

Marleau has played a lot of playoff games, way more than the average guy but his performances have always been rather pedestrian to me, all things considered. He's not terrible but he's not the "grab the game by the horns and dominate" type of guy by any stretch either. I was never impressed with his playoff games with San Jose, especially when he was in his prime, surrounded by All-Stars and on a team that was considered to be a Cup favorite every year but always fell short.

really Kadri's situation was so clear...who was really thinking he wanted to jump over the guy?.. he had 3 x suspensions in the past...hes a cancer for you guys...its playoffs, you have to play to win..not being an ass...you guys will figure that out...

I guess we'll find out tomorrow and the games after that if he's learned anything from those previous playoff experiences. For our sake, I hope so. Hopefully the whole team responds with a better effort tomorrow.

He's emotional and makes bad decisions. If that's how you describe a cancer on your team, then sure?

That doesn't quite fit my definition of the term. Cancerous players are ones that are selfish and destroy team chemistry, not players that do dumb stuff in the heat of the moment because they are trying to stick up for a teammate. In the end, his actions may hurt the team, true, but not because he doesn't care about the team.

It's also a burden that he has to play center now and that's something he doesn't really seem to enjoy doing anymore. I'd almost prefer leaving him on the wing, leaving Hyman on the top line and putting Moore in Kadri's spot and occasionally put Plekanec there to see if that piece of poop can earn his price tag.

He's mot much different than Gallagher and/or Shaw. He's an agitator with skill. The heat of the moment got the better of him and he retaliated poorly. He'll learn his lesson and will be smarter in future playoff appearances.
