I honestly did not beloive but wow what a bounce back game from the entire roster. Elliott looked shaky in the 1st but really settled down and looked to gain confidence and poise as the game progressed. Manning and Gudas were really good. The PK was good. I'm elated.

Goaltending, goaltending, goaltending......in the playoffs your guy has to be better then the guy at the other end....tonight he was. Fantastic character win...play a more physical gritty game.....it’s how you win against a team like the Pens.

Shocked by Elliott. He looked really out of control and still won it. Otherwise the team played s but better. Pens were incredibly snake bitten but f em.

Always funny reading pens fans comments. The refs were a reason they lost even though the penguins had more power plays.

and they were given so many weak calls too

I don't think anyone on the Flyers had a bad game tonight. Filpulla Lehtera, AMac, everyone was on their game. Good stuff.

His short-side vulnerability makes me nervous, but he got the job done tonight for sure.

This. You can't give their pp opportunities.

Yeah Crosby getting stopped on the breakaway I think is probably the key moment in the game. Later on he hit the post on an empty net from a gorgeous Kessel feed. Pens also hit the crossbar in the final 3 minutes. Philly played really great but they got a lot of puck luck in this one.

Last game the Pens were incredibly lucky..

It balances out.

Both captains had a well below average game tonight.

Moose made the big saves he needed to tonight, definitely looked like he was still shaking off the rust the 1st period, but rounded into form. Good win boys, heading home, let's do this!!

Giroux and Voracek could have been much much better and will need to be going forward

You really can't blame Murray on ANY of those Flyers goals. 1st goal is traffic/screen on the PP. 2nd is a bounce in off Letang. The TK goal was just a thing of beauty that a high skill player can do in this league. 4th goal was Harlem Globetrotters - again on the PP.

How many MacDonald haters were foaming at the mouth while CSN highlighted his strong shift against one of the top NHL talents??? I love when idiots are put in their place.

For sure....but Elliot made saves tonight that most would agree wouldn’t have necessarily been his fault had they gone in. The point is he stopped more pucks then the other guy. That’s not a knock on Murray, that’s more of a shout out to Elliot. Let’s face it, unless Elliot plays that way the Flyers would be (frank)ed.
