Pens may not have been a good defensive team during the regular season but they are controlling play with their defense. Efficiently moving the puck to thwart the Flyers forecheck. Flyers need better puck movement and more rushes like on the play Provorov's shot hit Raffl. Penguins have been better at taking away space and forcing dump ins.

Yeah even with their bottom pairing - they're churning out easy breakouts. Flyers need to claw back and start evening the scales in the possession game. Soft flip-ins giving the fowards a chance to get in on the forecheck.

No matter what happens if one of the Flyers top two lines don't consistently beat out either Crosby or Malkin's line they're going to lose this series. So far both Crosby and Malkin's lines are playing better than the Flyers top 2 lines. The Flyers 3rd line is also not playing well. Hak needs to put Konecny on that first line and see what it can do against the Pens here. You are already not having success making the 3rd line into a scoring line. Might as well just put Raffl on that line and hit the fukk out of Kessel and Brassard and deal with them that way.
